What will I paint?

In this class, you will learn how to paint a Short-Haired Orange and White Cat using watercolors. You have the option to use the same reference photo I am using (located in the Resources Section) or you can use the skills you learn in this class to paint your own light colored, short-haired cat.

What will we explore? 

• Professional quality supplies that I use to create my own pet portraits

• Using masking fluid to keep the whites of the paper clean

• Building up our painting layer by layer

• Practicing 3 different brushstrokes that I use for cat fur markings
